🌟 Igniting Young Imaginations Through Storytime! 🌟

Interactive group reading and storytime aren’t just about books – they’re about building excitement, sparking curiosity, and taking young minds on unforgettable adventures! 📚✨

These sessions are designed to make reading fun, loud, and creative. Encouraging kids to use their imaginations transforms each story into a shared experience filled with wonder.

It’s amazing to see young learners actively participating, visualizing worlds beyond the page, and learning how stories connect to their own experiences.

🌈 Exploring Science Through a Rainbow of Fun! 🌈

Our little scientists dove into the colorful world of science by creating water rainbows. Using simple materials like water and coloring, they discovered how colors mix and travel, blending into vibrant, messy masterpieces. 🎨🧪

What stood out the most wasn’t just their curiosity - it was their joy. The bigger the mess, the louder the giggles, and the brighter the excitement! Moments like these remind us that hands-on learning is not only educational but also unforgettable.

Science is about exploration, creativity, and sometimes a little chaos - just like childhood! 🌟

We had the privilege of exhibiting our Spanish program at the "Puentistas" (College association for people with latino and Hispanic background) event at UCSD, a gathering focused on empowering the Latino and Hispanic community.

It was an amazing opportunity to showcase how our after-school program inspires students through language and culture while opening doors for Spanish-speaking educators to join our mission.

This event allowed us to expand opportunities for potential Spanish-speaking teachers passionate about teaching in after-school programs. Sharing our mission to bring the Spanish language and culture to students was both rewarding and inspiring.

We also had the pleasure of connecting with brilliant students and professors from esteemed institutions like UCLA, USD, UCSD, SDSU, Cal State San Marcos, California State Santa Barbara, UCR, and many more.

Excited for the new opportunities this event has created and grateful to be part of such an impactful community! 🌎🎓

Building Skills and Futures, One Block at a Time

Our students took a creative leap into the world of architecture! Using building blocks, they explored the concepts of strong foundations, teamwork, and the inspiration behind famous landmarks like the Parthenon and Big Ben.

🧱 Strong Foundations: Just as the Parthenon has stood for centuries on its carefully crafted base, the kids learned that a sturdy foundation is the key to success—whether building towers or achieving goals.

🤝 Teamwork: Inspired by Big Ben’s intricate design, our little builders discovered how collaboration can lead to structures taller and stronger than they could create on their own.

This hands-on activity wasn’t just about building towers—it was about building confidence, curiosity, and teamwork.

Watching their imaginations and problem-solving skills at work was a reminder of the incredible potential in every child.

Here’s to laying strong foundations for the future, block by block! 🏛️⏱️

🌟 Teaching Spanish at Alta Murrieta Elementary School's After-School Program 🌟

I had a fantastic time teaching Spanish to a wonderful group of young learners as part of our after-school program at Alta Murrieta Elementary School! 🎒📚

We explored new vocabulary, including words like:
🎃 Calabazas (pumpkins)
👓 Lentes or Anteojos (glasses) and more.

It’s amazing to see how quickly these kids pick up new words and gain confidence with a new language.

Watching their excitement as they discover and connect with Spanish is a joy and a reminder of the importance of early language education.

Here’s to many more words learned, laughs shared, and connections made! 🌎💬

🎃 Halloween Fun with Family & Community! 🎃

This Halloween, our family had a fantastic time trick-or-treating with the Chick-fil-A mascot!

The kids were thrilled to fill their bags with candy, but the best part was the sense of community that made the day so special. It was heartwarming to meet so many wonderful people, share smiles, and see the neighborhood come alive with Halloween spirit.

Big thanks to Chick-fil-A for the fun memories and everyone who helped make this holiday a treat! 🍭🐄

🌟 Class Break = Playtime Magic! 🌟

There’s something so refreshing about watching kids enjoy their break time at the playground when we rented out the labs at Oakhill Academy in Temecula (school no longer exists). Our class took a well-deserved pause, and soon enough, everyone was hanging upside down, racing around, and simply enjoying the moment.

Play isn’t just a break from learning; it’s an essential part of it. Through play, kids stretch their imaginations, build friendships, and grow their confidence—qualities that are just as important as any lesson we teach in the classroom.

Seeing their energy and joy reminds us why we’re here: to create environments where learning and fun go hand in hand. Here’s to more moments of play and discovery! 🌈

🚢 Ahoy, mateys! Wrapped up an incredible Pirate Camp, where young explorers dove deep into the world of marine engineering! 🏴‍☠️

Our campers crafted canoes, paddle boats, and rowboats while learning firsthand about buoyancy, stability, and propulsion. We didn’t stop there; they also got to learn about treasure maps, treasure hunts, learn about divers, and uncover tales of shipwrecks.

Watching kids engage with hands-on STEM activities and ignite their curiosity about the seas has been the highlight. Here’s to fostering a new generation of marine engineers and adventurous thinkers! ⚓️💡

✨ If your little one comes back from preschool with messy clothes, that's a sign they had a fantastic day filled with exploration and discovery! 🎨👩‍🔬

My kids dove into the wonders of kinetic sand and slime - engaging in hands-on learning that sparks curiosity, creativity, and sensory development. Messy play is all about having fun, experimenting, and learning about the world through touch, texture, and imagination. 🌟

So, if they come home with sand between their fingers and slime on their shirt, just know that’s the look of a day well spent learning and growing!

Slime: Unlocking the Hidden Value of Hands-On Learning in Science and STEM

I had the pleasure of teaching a fun and educational STEM session at Oakhill Academy in Temecula, where we dove into the fascinating world of chemical reactions! 🌟🔬

The students were thrilled to get hands-on as we made slime, learning about how different substances interact to create something entirely new. It was exciting to watch their curiosity grow and see them discover the wonders of science in such a fun, engaging way.

Inspiring young minds to explore STEM is always a rewarding experience!
