Powerful tools like Meta AI ESMFold, are allowing researchers to predict the structures of proteins with remarkable accuracy, which has generated significant interest in computer-science-based protein engineering.

By leveraging the power of AI/ML, drug developers can transition their workflows to in silico formats, which will help them bring new therapeutics that are more effective and safer to market faster than ever before.

This is an exciting new frontier as researchers work to unlock the full potential of AI/ML in protein engineering to bring benefits to patients and the industry as a whole!

With data-driven methods such as de novo protein design and iterative engineering, drug development is becoming more deliberate and systematic.

May is National Cancer Research Month, and we're proud to share a success story from our work with Health.

Strateos successfully developed a high-throughput drug screening platform based on a PDx assay developed at CPMC to screen drug panels to enable the design of personalized cancer treatments. Using the HTS platform, CMPC researchers could remotely execute patient-specific chemotherapy drug screens.

Our cutting-edge technology helped streamline experiments, reduce costs, allowing the team to rapidly assess drug efficacy to create tailored patient-specific treatment plans and improve clinical outcomes.

The trend towards automated manufacturing for cell therapies is gaining momentum to address the high demand and overcome manufacturing challenges that have limited patient access to these innovative treatments.

In fact, the MHRA UK Stem Cell Bank is about to undertake a significant 12-month trial with The CellQualia™ Intelligent Cell Processing System - a stem cell propagation robot developed in Japan that incorporates robotics and automation to fully enclose and automate cell culture processes.

The system will make it easier to produce cell therapies with better quality control and reduced costs. We can't wait to see the results of this 12-month trial and the continued incorporation of robotics and automation in biopharma!

The MHRA is set to trial a stem cell robot which could result in the development of safer and cost-effective cell therapies.
