We like big cranes…and two are swinging full time to build a new data center for META (e.g. Facebook and Instagram) in Montgomery, Alabama. On top of building out two massive structures with 100’ long joints, the Red Cedar team is installing a novel modular mechanical racking system called MTR’s that dramatically reduce the schedule time for construction. Once the servers are in place, there will be plenty of room for more of all those interesting cat videos.

At Red Cedar Steel, our purpose includes building our People and our Future. This includes supporting the next generation coming into the ironworking trade and college students entering the industry.
Recently, two of our dedicated safety professionals toured three Mankato State construction management students through one of our on-going er****on projects—including one student whose father is a Red Cedar professional ironworker. Working with our team, they learned about site specific safety plans, OSHA requirements for steel er****on and doing safety audits on our digital safety platform.
