Custom fabrication doesn’t always come in a standard shape or size.

This large-scale project taking shape at our York facility highlights the flexibility behind APX’s custom fabrication capabilities. From individual components through welding and assembly, our team has the experience and equipment to tackle complex builds designed around the specific needs of the application.

Big, intricate or somewhere in between, it’s the kind of work that puts our fabrication expertise to work.

Earlier this week, APX team members across shifts cooled down with ice cream sandwiches in celebration of National Ice Cream Sandwich Day.

With the August heat and humidity in full force, the timing could not have been better. Thanks to everyone who helped make the day a little sweeter!

APX employees and their families enjoyed a Christmas in July night at the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars game on Saturday, July 25.

Nearly 90 people joined us for an evening of baseball, family time, and midsummer holiday fun. The final score may not have gone the Boxcars’ way, but it was still a great night together!

APX continues to invest in the capabilities needed to better serve our customers.

Our Greencastle machine shop recently added a new vertical machining center, increasing CNC capacity and giving our team greater flexibility to take on a wider range of projects.

With a larger work envelope, high-speed machining, wireless probing, and 4th-axis capability, the new equipment will support more complex parts, multi-sided machining, and consistent precision from part to part.

This addition strengthens our ability to support customer requirements while improving efficiency, repeatability, and overall production capacity.
