The Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance (VEA) is an Idaho-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans and military spouses succeed through entrepreneurship. Services are provided at no cost to the veterans and military spouses the VEA serves, which is made possible through the generosity of its partners and supporters.
From VEA:
“Our mission is to provide veterans and veteran spouses opportunities to succeed in Idaho after the military through our three pillars: EDUCATE, EMPOWER, and CONNECT. We provide free business education, one-on-one advising, mentorship, networking opportunities, and connections to valuable resources. Whether someone is just exploring a business idea or working to grow an established company, we walk alongside them to help turn their goals into reality.”
Since its launch, the VEA has:
🎖️ Served more than 1,500 veterans and military spouses.
💼 Helped launch hundreds of veteran and military spouse-owned businesses.
🫱🏻🫲🏼 Provided thousands of business advising and training sessions.
💵 Helped entrepreneurs access capital, build professional networks, and create jobs in Idaho communities.
This Saturday, October 17, the VEA is partnering with Mission43 to host the Military Business Market at the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse — bringing together 70+ veteran- and military spouse-owned businesses from across the state for a community market featuring local products, makers, food and beverage vendors, and a variety of small businesses. This is a public market where everyone (not just the military community) is invited to shop, eat, and meet/support local entrepreneurs. Admission is free, and participating vendors aren't charged either. (More information in the comments.)
