Our latest project in the Concept to Completion series is Orion High School in Pasco, WA. This new 65,000 facility was completed in the summer of 2025 and is the newest choice high school in the Pasco School District that enables students to graduate with experience or certification in engineering, manufacturing, or health and human sciences. Classrooms and labs were designed for these specific areas of study, with the ability to rotate the various program spaces depending on the current project being completed.

Last week, Tri-Tech Skills Center held its Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the modernization of its original 1980 building. The renovation of the 66,000-square-foot facility was needed due to aging infrastructure and new technology demands. Improvements were made to the events center and student commons, as well as updates to the program spaces, including Auto Body Technology, Construction Trades, Cyber-Security, Dental Assisting, Diesel Technology, Digital Arts & Filmmaking, Early Childhood Education, HVAC, Pre-Nursing, Video Game Design, and Welding Technology. We hope all the students, staff, and faculty enjoy learning and working in their new spaces!

We’re excited to share Pullman Regional Hospital’s press release regarding the expansion project receiving the official sign-off for Phase 1 from the Washington State Department of Health. Design West is proud to celebrate a major milestone for Isadora Lambert, who has become a licensed architect. After passing the Architectural Registration Examinations and meeting all state licensing requirements, Isa earned her architectural license - a remarkable accomplishment made even more impressive by the additional steps required to transition her architectural education from Brazil into U.S. licensure. Isa is an amazing project manager, now architect, who handles a wide variety of projects for our higher education clients. Her array of skills, including client communications, aesthetic design, and technical integration, makes her a formidable force in accomplishing projects that solve our clients’ problems. Clients and building users have gone out of their way to compliment the success of her projects in form and function.
