Interior Character & Craftsmanship

A timber frame gives a home a strong visual identity, but the best interiors allow the other materials to have their own voice as well.

Inside the Timber Ridge Residence, rich timber is balanced by lighter cabinetry, natural stone, expansive glazing and understated finishes.

The kitchen sits beneath the exposed beam structure and opens directly into the main living areas, making it part of the home's central gathering space.

Throughout the residence, the Gothic influence is expressed through the timber itself. Pointed arches, steep structural lines and carefully shaped curved elements reference traditional Gothic forms while remaining completely at home within a modern timber residence.

Those details are part of what makes every custom timber frame unique.

How do you maintain a strong company culture while your company continues to grow? 🌱

That’s the conversation Brian Sielaff, P.E., S.E., P.Eng., CEO of Tamarack Grove Engineering, will be leading alongside Marc Sandhu, P.E., President & CEO of ARS Engineers, Inc., this week at ElevateAEC 2026 in Park City.

Their roundtable, “Maintaining Culture as You Grow,” will bring AEC leaders together to talk candidly about what has worked, what they’ve learned, and how companies can protect the things that make them special while continuing to evolve.

For TGE, it’s an especially meaningful topic. Growth has brought new people, new opportunities, and plenty of change, but our commitment to being Relationship Driven remains at the heart of who we are.

GSA is building a new nationwide Large Construction IDIQ, and Zone 7 is the widest zone in the program.

It covers Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, Montana, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands. GSA expects to award 40–50 IDIQs across seven zones. Each is a 10-year vehicle for design-build and CMc task orders that typically start at $20M.

A prime that wins Zone 7 will need a structural engineer who can deliver anywhere from Boise to Honolulu to Guam. Tamarack Grove Engineering is licensed in all 50 states, D.C., and the U.S. territories, so one structural partner can cover the whole zone.

We're looking for general contractors, architects, and A/E firms pursuing Zones 7 and 5. If you're building a team, let's talk.
