Ever wonder what happens to all the material we vacuum up? 🤔
When a hydrovac truck is digging, we're not just moving dirt; We're creating a "slurry" made up of water, soil, rock... and whatever else is underground.
And no, we can't just dump it anywhere.
That material typically has to be taken to approved disposal or processing facilities where it's separated, treated, or solidified before it can be properly disposed of. It's an important part of the job that helps protect the environment and keeps projects compliant.
The digging might be what everyone sees, but responsible disposal is just as important as the work happening on-site. A lot goes into every load we haul, from the first shovel of dirt to the final dump ticket.
