There’s something incredible about bringing an old photograph back to life through laser engraving!

Slate is hands down one of my favorite materials to work with. The natural texture and contrast created by the laser can turn a simple piece of stone into something truly special.

In this throwback project, I’m laser engraving a vintage military photograph onto a slate coaster. Watching all those little details come to life is one of the reasons I love what I do. The finished result is beautiful!

What a great evening celebrating the incredible people and businesses that make Merrill, Wisconsin, such a special place to live, work, and call home!

Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the Merrill Chamber Annual Celebration & Awards Dinner. A huge thank you to the Merrill Chamber of Commerce for hosting such a wonderful event and for everything you do to support small businesses, encourage local growth, and strengthen our Merrill community!

I’m also incredibly grateful to the Merrill Chamber for once again giving me the opportunity to create the awards for this year’s celebration. It’s truly an honor to play a small part in recognizing the hardworking individuals and businesses making a difference in our community. Congratulations to all of this year’s award recipients! Your dedication and contributions help make Merrill an incredible place!

One of the best parts of the evening was connecting with fellow Merrill-area business owners and Chamber members. Every local business brings something unique to our community, and seeing everyone come together to celebrate and support one another is what makes events like this so meaningful.

The customer provided this beautiful live-edge wood slab and came to Copper Mine Laser Design LLC with a vision for turning it into something truly unique. We brought that vision to life with detailed laser engraving, and the natural character of the wood paired with the intricate Northwoods design made the finished piece incredible.
