Not enough can be said about our commitment to make sure that our Modern family members go home safely to their family and loved ones every single day!
One of the ways this is proven is our award winning safety record. In May we broke two records. First, we passed the two year mark without a lost time accident and then we broke the facility record of 741 days without a lost time accident.
Along with our internal benchmarks, we are happy to announce external recognition for our achievements. Modern Forge has won first place in the 2023 Forging Industry Association Safety Awards. These awards are based on our exemplary status in an industry in which life changing accidents can occur.
Our safety culture allows us to continue to find ways to improve the safety within our facility, to look out for our coworkers, and continue to send everyone home safely each day. The awards are recognition for what is the most important part of working at Modern Forge Indiana.
