**Not a pool fence.**

Another project in the books, and another project wiser.

Over the past few weeks, I had the opportunity to create this custom fence to keep the owners’ dogs separated to one side of the yard. Like many custom fabrication projects, this one came with its share of challenges and tested me both as a business owner and as a fabricator.

At the end of the day, I feel incredibly blessed to have opportunities that push me to grow. Every project teaches me something new, and I’m excited to continue this journey—not just as a business owner and fabricator, but as a person.

2025 at a glance, 20 of my favorite projects.

I’m truly thankful for the chance to keep growing, both as a person and as a business owner. It hasn’t been easy, and it may not look like much from the outside, but I’m building something for the long run. These projects are what I have to show for the progress, lessons, and growth along the way.

I’m grateful for my faith in God that keeps me going during the hard times, for my parents and sisters who always support me, and for my friends and clients who push me forward with every like, comment, and referral.

Looking forward to 2026 and whatever projects come next — excited for what’s ahead.

As I work with different customers, I’ve come across a few who could be called “picky.” But I’ve realized they’re not always being difficult—they might just have a standard I wasn’t holding myself to yet.

The “pickier” the customer, the bigger the chance to level up. High-quality work should be the baseline, not something the customer has to demand.

And yeah, it can sting when someone points out a flaw in work that took real effort, time, and sweat. But there’s a difference between someone asking for more than what they paid for and someone expecting what they paid for.

Learning that changed how I work. Now I know what it takes to deliver top quality the first time—and how to charge for that level of work.

Those lessons don’t come free.

Two more clean installs wrapped up today.
These are my standard pedestrian gates, upgraded with a deadbolt and doorknob for added security. They’re also self-closing to meet pool safety requirements. We used cedar pickets finished with a clear weather-resistant coat to keep them looking sharp through Arizona’s sun and storms.
