After being laying down for almost 2 months twice due to a herniated disc on my lower back and refusing to get surgery, I started with physical therapy which helped me get back on my feet, but something was still missing since there was still some pain and discomfort.
I did a lot of research and an MRI showed me I actually have 5 herniated discs, (3 on my neck and 2 on y lower back).
I did some exercise at home and all kinds of stretching but still wasn’t enough.
One day, my wife and a friend were looking for a place go to work out, but not a Zumba place or a regular gym, that’s when they came across BURN BOOTCAMP in Mesa.
They attended for a few days and they were really sore since they haven’t been that active, but as they keep going I saw them hooked, and that’s when my wife asked me to give it a try to see if that would help me with my back issues. when I saw the exercises online I decided to give it a shot without knowing that this decision would change my life.
At first I thought it was a place more bound for woman since I didn’t see the huge weight sets you see at a regular gym, but the more I attended I realized that I could lift heavier weights, do more repetitions but more than anything, I could feel my body had the strength to push the herniated discs back in place and not feel the pain and discomfort that it was stopping me from living a normal life. They have a great support community that instead of judging, they will encourage you to push yourself and do things you didn’t even know you could.
I just completed my first year at BURN and I’m coming for year #2.
If you want to make a significant change in you life, I highly recommend BURN BOOTCAMP and put your health first.
