Happy Birthday to the woman who keeps this family and this business grounded in all the best ways 🎂

Rhonda spent 20 years as a Nurse Practitioner but then decided to walk away and help build the family construction business you all have come to know and love 🫶🏼

She has a green thumb that rivals her eye for design, and somehow still the first one to show up and the last one to leave.

Somewhere between the garden gloves and the travel itineraries, she's the person who keeps this whole operation running with grace and zero drama.

We could go on, but she'd probably tell us to get back to work 🤣

The rough-in stage is, honestly, the most boring phase of building a custom home and we completely understand why.

No dramatic before-and-after.
No finishes to obsess over.
Just walls that look exactly the same as they did two weeks ago 😄

But here's what's actually happening inside those walls right now.

Your electrical is being run,
Your plumbing is being roughed in,
Your HVAC systems are being installed,
The structural decisions that will determine how this home performs for the next 50 years, all of it is happening right now, completely out of sight.

This is the phase where so much work is going into your build, you just don't really see it...Because by the time the drywall goes up, none of this is visible anymore. You just have to trust that it was done right.

That's why who you choose to build your home matters so much, You can't go back and fix what's behind the walls. (or if you do, it'll cost so much more!)

We've been doing this for 30+ years, and the rough-in stage is one we never rush because what's inside the walls is just as important as what's on them.
