Port Cargo Service will be closed on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024. Hurricane Francine will be arriving in the afternoon and we must prepare our buildings for the storm. We will post our intentions for opening for Thursday, once we know details on Francine's arrival. We don't anticipate damages or flooding, but it is highly unlikely that there will be electricity in the Metropolitan New Orleans area. Please monitor this page and you can communicate with us on this page. You can contact Kevin Kelly at 504 628 6000 or email me at [email protected] Our hope is to reopen at noon on Thursday.

Rest and relax in these sought-after B&Bs with historical charm. We've curated a list of inviting abodes throughout the country.

All of our warehouses are safe, with no signs of damage from the tornadoes that hit New Orleans this afternoon

09/05/2021

Port Cargo Service now has power and internet at its Main Office at 1450 L and A Road. We will be open and operational on Tuesday. Our warehouses do not have power at this time, however it may be active by then. The biggest problem in New Orleans now is getting gasoline and diesel. Truckers may not be able to operate without fuel. Our office does not have active phone service, but we are operating with our cell phones.

08/31/2021

Hurricane Ida treated us well. We have some roof damage and 1 building has a small wall damage. One building left to check out. No damage to any of our customers freight. We are trying to figure out how to open without power, and we will announce reopening soon. If you need anything, call or text Kevin at 504 628 6000 or email at [email protected]

08/27/2021

Hurricane Ida is projected to hit the Louisiana Coast on Sunday.
It is doubtful that we will have electricity on Monday, so we will be closed on Monday. We hope to reopen on Tuesday. Please monitor this page for updates as they happen. Kevin Kelly can be contacted at 504 628 6000.

11/02/2020
