August 23, 2026 10 Hr Trip
Wow what a story we have to tell today. This group of true friends have been fishing with Charisma for 4 generations!! Back when Capt Chuck was running the boat in the 1980s and ever since. There is even another generation to come but they are a tad too young to make the trip right now. Looking forward to that for sure.
Today’s catch included Capt. Ron’s first king of the season. There were stories on the dock about the sharks and even dolphin taking their share of fish on the lines, but the crew was still able to bring their quota of snapper to the dock, beeliners, triggerfish and a red grouper. What a meal this will be.

Not Fishing.
It’s not days off when Capt Ron isn’t out fishing. It’s taking care of Charisma so she runs good and gets him to the best fishing spots.
Tara and Mav were looking for Ron and found him down in the engine room. Yes, way back in and around and under the floor doing maintenance. He makes a mess when he works, but it’s always cleaned up, ready for the next charter.

August 15, 2026
10 Hr Trip
Today’s trip included friends who have fished several times with Charisma Charters. Their last trip was 8 years ago and they promise it won’t be that long again. In the past they also had the pleasure of fishing with Capt Chuck, the founder of Charisma Charters. Their catch today included red snapper, beeliners, lane snapper, triggerfish, red grouper and an Almaco Jack.
Once they hit the dock, it was all Tara and Maverick time, who soaked up all the petting and hugs they could get. Maverick loves the water hose.

August 14, 2026. 10 hr Charter

Guess what, we had first timers with Charisma Charters today!! And they said they would definitely be back. They fought a shark long enough to see it and then it got off. Very happy with their snapper and grouper, and a triggerfish they caught. We can’t wait for them to come back.

Aug 8, 2026. 10 Hr Trip
Charisma was finally back out on the water and what a beautiful day. Limits were caught, fish were thrown back because they weren’t in season to keep and everyone had smiles.
It was a task getting back over the sandbar because Charisma is so big, but after a couple of tries, Capt Ron and deckhand Sammy found a way.
Fishing on this trip were long time friends, including Nathan and Ashlyn Langley, Maggie Warren and Judd Rogers, Walt Warren and Harry Warren.

7/27/26 6 Hr Charter

So Charisma hasn’t been out much lately due to weather and canal issues. But today Capt Ron was able to take Leah Campbell and friends out for what should have been an 8 hour charter, but turned into a 6 hour trip. It was sloppy rough and not everyone brought their sea legs with them. Good fish were caught and good fish were brought back to the dock. You just can’t depend on the weather lately to cooperate. Hope to see this group again on a calmer day.

July 18, 2026’s charter was one for the books. Capt Ron had the pleasure of taking out the 4th generation of this family to fish with Charisma. Their Dad and Grandfather had all fished with Charisma in years past.
During the trip, Morgan told Capt Ron she needed to catch a fish for a picture so Capt Ron put her on the fish and she caught a triggerfish, but had to throw it back. A few fish were thrown back on this trip. And Carly caught the big snapper just to show how it’s done. The weather was beautiful all day until they got to Mexico Beach where it was raining. And Capt Ron’s dog Tara didn’t want to be left out of the pictures.
