The tournament may be over, but the fun certainly didn’t stop at the docks. Everyone headed straight to the pool party, and nobody wanted the day to end!It was the perfect family afternoon. Contractors, spouses, and kids all hung out together by the water. The air was filled with non-stop laughter and the incredible aroma of fresh lobster.Seeing our community relax, eat great food, and celebrate together made it a truly special day. Nobody wanted to leave. We just wanted this perfect weekend to keep on going.

The energy at Charter Boat Row this morning was electric. Every captain and crew member was stoked, fueled by coffee and the thrill of the open water. The boats lined up, engines roaring, ready to tackle the Plumbing Contractors Association annual tournament.As the sun began to set, the fleet returned to the docks with even bigger smiles. Everyone came back happier, sun-kissed, and loaded with incredible fish stories. It was a flawless day on the water from start to finish.A massive congratulations to Team Speakman for winning the tournament! They took home the top spot with the most points after scoring an epic sailfish. They officially take home the ultimate prize: absolute bragging rights for the next 365 days. Way to reel it in, champions!

We gathered for a special meet-and-greet to honor Hector Rivera, bringing together families, friends, and even the fiercest competitors. This industry is truly a tight-knit family. Seeing everyone catch up, share laughs, and bond outside of work reminded us why this event is so special. It is more than a tournament; it is a tradition that keeps our community connected.

💼This past weekend, the Plumbing Contractors Association hosted our Annual Fishing Tournament in loving memory of Hector Rivera. It is always a privilege to step away from the daily grind and bring our industry professionals, vendors, and families together for a fantastic weekend of camaraderie.

We successfully cleared the docks, shared a few classic “the one that got away” fish tales, and proved that plumbers know how to handle a boat just as well as a main line. 🛠️

🎣 PCA FISHING TOURNAMENT UPDATE: THE FORECAST IS UNCLOGGED!

🌊We just peeped Saturday’s Key West forecast, and it is officially 100% leak-proof. If you were hoping for an excuse to stay at the dock, your plans just got flushed! 🚽

✈️Here’s the breakdown for our 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM tournament window:

☀️ The Skies: Mostly sunny. Absolutely no unexpected backups or overflows in sight.

🌊 The Seas: Under 1 foot. Way smoother than a homeowner’s DIY PVC repair.

💨 The Wind: Light SE breeze at 5-10 mph. Just enough to keep the boat drifting and the copper cool.

The water pressure is looking perfect, so we expect a massive flow of fish! 🐟

Just remember to apply thick sunblock. If you forget, you’re going to end up looking as red and blistered as a poorly soldered pipe fitting. 🔥
