Blount County now has a ballpark worthy of its baseball history. From the players who suited up here in the '60s to the high schoolers calling it home today, Eagleton Ballpark is already the real deal. Our team was grateful to contribute, handling design, drainage, infrastructure, and construction administration to help bring the vision from the ground up. Now we just get to watch the parking lots fill up on Saturday mornings.

Blount County cut the ribbon to officially open Eagleton Ballpark on Tuesday afternoon.

Congratulations to Kirk Holmes, Ardurra's Director of Central Washington and Emergency Management Services, on being named one of APWA's 2026 Top Ten Public Works Leaders of the Year - a national Top Ten recognition celebrating its 67th year!

Recipients are chosen by past Top Ten honorees and must demonstrate continuous, proven dedication to professional excellence in public works. Kirk embodies that in every sense. Over a four-decade career, he has strengthened infrastructure systems, elevated emergency preparedness, and championed public works as a cornerstone of resilient communities across Washington State.

His contributions go far beyond his title. From mentoring the next generation to leading Washington Chapter Committees and serving as Chapter President, Kirk has generously shared his expertise at every level. He currently serves as Chair of the Washington State Emergency Management Council, advising the Governor and the Director of the Washington Military Department on statewide emergency readiness. This role reflects both his strategic vision and his deep commitment to keeping communities safe.

The Studebaker Road Transformation Project in Long Beach, CA, is one of the most ambitious corridor upgrades the city has ever undertaken. The Ardurra is proud to be providing resident engineering and construction management services. From resurfaced roadways and ADA-compliant sidewalks to protected bikeways, new fiber-optic infrastructure, and over 100 new trees,
this project is remaking a critical stretch of Long Beach into a safer, greener, and more connected corridor for residents, students, and commuters alike.
