**LONG POST ALERT**
So my TWO children (5yo/6yo) was attending Bright Beginnings Academy, MC they’ve been attending since each of my boys were 6weeks old so they’ve been there for 5 & 6 years NEVER HAD A ISSUE now of course things changed & they have new people working there under new management ok cool. Now my youngest goes full time at the On my way preK program they had an EXCELLENT teacher like she had the kids ready for kindergarten at 4 now they fired her for they own reasoning BUT they didn’t replace her with another certified educator which they don’t have to but that was my preference but I wasn’t tripping because I knew the person they hired right ok I can get over it. Now my son is 4 about to be 5 he is in class with another student that identifies as FEMALE at 4/5yrs old he identifies as a SHE ok whatever not big deal right? No so one day my child & the little “girl” was in the bathroom TOGETHER so I go off on the director and his assistant because why were they able to be alone by themselves? Weather it was 1min or 2mins ITS A NO FOR ME idc like that’s unacceptable so that happens I go off on them n tell them I don’t want my kid playing with the other kid or to move rooms so they say my kid has to turn 5 before he can be moved ok so boom 5th bday coming up & I ask again can he be moved their response “oh the class is full” WHAT ?? you said he can move when he’s 5 so now I’m like ok well can he take my other son (6yo) spot since it’s no room they basically said NO. Ok now that was my first problem
Second problem I walk into the daycare on a hot day it’s nice and cool when I walk in and walk to my sons room but I get to the room it feel like a SAUNA like it’s hot as hell in there so I go talk to the assistant like hey I don’t think it’s safe for my son or the other kids for that matter to be in a room and it’s hot like that. If they can’t go outside in a certain temperature why should they have to stay in a room that’s burning up hot ?? The assistant responds “oh well you don’t have to bring him if you feel that way” ok let that fly because now you getting smart but I need my kids to be here so boom I brush it off.
THIRD PROBLEM now I have a very picky 4 almost 5yo which I think he’s an high functioning autistic because he displays many characteristics & my thing is if these teachers and directors are working with him and has been working with him I would think they notice the autism things too and they would mention it so we can get him tested but no one ever says nothing just complains about the way he acts which he NEEDS stuff to be a certain way in order for him to function so yesterday I go pick my son up we walking to the car and he like “mommy I didn’t eat my teacher gave my food away” so like any other mom we walked back into the daycare because I wanna know why my baby ain’t eat so after talking with his teachers come to find out he was upset because his food was served on a blue plate and he wanted green so the last time he ate was at 9am so he went from 9am to 3pm without eating so now I’m pi**ed because why would no one call me?? Then I speak with his teacher and it was a very nonchalant response as if she didn’t care if he ate or not. Ok so I’m like let me speak with the director and assistant so I call them and the director says to me that they aren’t in the business of “catering to kids” HUH 🤔 like sorry but that’s your job to take care of and cater to the students needs and my thing is it isn’t a big request and my main thing is why wasn’t I notified? So they like oh you don’t want us reaching out to through the care app ok ?? So no one could call me and tell me my son is refusing to eat ?? The director was very nonchalant as well and I’m not asking for my kid to be catered too but how hard is it to switch a plate he didn’t say he didn’t want the food it was the PLATE. So after me and the director have our conversation he then proceeds to tell me that my kids are no longer welcome to the daycare and that I have 15mins to come and pick my child up knowing that I work in Laporte now I’m heated so my sister goes and pick my son up cause I don’t know what they on and for him to threaten me that I have to come get my son in 15mins as if something was going to happen to him if I didn’t want sitting right with me. So my sister goes and gets my son and ask them what happened the director tells my sister that I always have a problem hmm 🤔 is that because I point out the things that aren’t done the correct way according to state guidelines?? So he proceeds to get smart and be very rude and unprofessional to my sister and tell her “the kids aren’t welcome here and neither are you” so I’m here to bring awareness that the director (Mr.mike) should not be allowed to be an director over a daycare he has zero respect for parents I had no issues from the daycare before he started me and my kids have been at that daycare longer than he has and if I’m such a problem why haven’t we been kicked out??
This daycare is a joke. I wouldn’t recommend to ANYONE 0/10 👎🏿
