A new home. A new beginning. And another reason to love what we do. 🏡

We recently wrapped up this beautiful new manufactured home in Sarasota County through the Resilient SRQ Program, and it's one we're especially proud to share.

It's easy to get caught up in schedules, inspections, permits, and everything else that goes into completing a project. But at the end of it all, there's a homeowner waiting to get back to simply enjoying life in their own home.

That's what makes days like this worth sharing.

HOME SWEET HOME & WELCOME HOME! 🏡

Today was a good day in đź“Ť Sarasota County!

Through Sarasota County’s Resilient SRQ Program, we had the opportunity to welcome a homeowner back home after her previous home was demolished and replaced with a brand-new home.

For our team at Assist2Build Construction, days like today are a reminder of why we do what we do. Behind every disaster recovery project is a homeowner who has been through a lot and is simply ready to get back to normal.

There's a lot of work that goes into getting a project from demolition to move-in day, but seeing a homeowner finally walk into her new home makes it all worthwhile.

Were grateful to be part of Sarasota County's recovery efforts and proud of our team for helping make today possible.

Another home delivered and now in the process of being set through the Pinellas Recovers Program.

For us at Assist2Build Construction, these projects are never just another delivery on the schedule. This is someone’s home. More importantly, it belongs to someone who has already been through the disruption and uncertainty that comes with surviving a hurricane.

That is something our team does not lose sight of.

We work hard to move these projects forward with speed, organization, and exceptional quality, but just as important is the care behind the work. Every delivery, every set, every inspection, and every final detail brings a homeowner closer to having a place that feels like home again.

We are proud of the progress being made, but even more proud of the responsibility our team puts into doing this work the right way.

Friday Progress Update | Pasco County Better Future Program

A very productive week in đź“Ť Pasco County. This project has come a long way, from pier construction and steel framing to delivery, setting the home, continuing the MHU set-up and exterior work.

It is always rewarding to see the progress come together on site and watch a project move from foundation work to a home that is really starting to take shape.

There are a lot of moving parts behind the scenes on these projects, and it takes coordination between our field team, subcontractors, inspectors, program partners, manufacturers, and project management staff to keep everything moving in the right direction.

Proud of the progress made this week and looking forward to continuing to push this one toward completion.

We are excited to share the completion of our very first project within the Pinellas County – Pinellas Recovers Program!

This hurricane recovery project included a combination of exterior, roofing, structural, and interior rehabilitation work designed to restore the home to a safe, functional, and comfortable condition. The scope included roof replacement and related roofing components, exterior cleaning and painting, trim and gutter repairs, front porch column improvements, garage repairs including a new garage door and opener, interior drywall and ceiling repairs, insulation, flooring, plumbing, electrical work, bathroom rehabilitation, and other necessary storm-related repairs throughout the home.

For our team at Assist2Build, this project represents more than just another completed construction project. It marks an important milestone for our company as we continue expanding our role in disaster recovery programs throughout Florida.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to participate in the Pinellas Recovers Program and to work alongside the teams dedicated to helping families recover from the impacts of Hurricanes.

There is something especially rewarding about seeing a hurricane-damaged home restored and knowing that a homeowner can finally begin putting another difficult chapter of recovery behind them.

Congratulations to this homeowner on reaching the finish line and returning to a restored home!

Delivery day in đź“ŤPasco County, FL

Today is an exciting milestone for our team at Assist2Build, but more importantly, it is an exciting day for one Pasco County homeowner.

This brand-new manufactured home is being delivered today as part of the Pasco County Better Futures Program, a CDBG-DR funded initiative helping eligible families recover, rebuild, and move forward.

We are incredibly proud to be part of this project and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to Pasco County’s long-term disaster recovery efforts.

There is still work ahead before we hand over the keys, but today represents a major milestone and we could not be more excited for this homeowner as their new home begins to take shape.

While Candice is no stranger to working alongside Assist2Build Construction, we’re proud to now have her experience, knowledge, and leadership officially part of our team.

WELCOME HOME! 🏡

Our very first project in Pasco County under the Pasco County Better Future Program has officially reached the finish line.

And this one was a wild ride, to say the least.

From working through a structural change order to eliminate the original MHU strapping and incorporate structural steel beams, to navigating all of the required Certificate of Occupancy items in a new municipality, this project gave our team plenty of opportunities to adapt, learn, and keep moving forward.

Every municipality has its own processes, requirements, and expectations, and learning those ins and outs is always part of the challenge when entering a new program area.

But today, none of that is the headline.

The headline is:
WELCOME HOME!

This elevated MHU sits nearly 10 feet in the air, so apparently you can have a penthouse edition manufactured home!

More importantly, a homeowner now gets to step into a completed home and begin the next chapter.

Projects like this are exactly why we do what we do. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the construction, coordination, inspections, revisions, and countless moving pieces finally come together for the family at the center of it all.

Proud of everyone who helped get this one across the finish line.
