Spent the day helping the Vultures K**b crew get ready for their farewell season.

Many hands make light work or whatever that saying is. Thanks to all who came out and helped clear the trail today. The grass got mowed, trees got removed from the trail, and wet spots got drained. The Board could not have accomplished all of what was done today alone. Special thanks to AM Diversified Services for bringing extra equipment and all the time spent helping out!

We still have some w**d whacking to do and a few other smaller projects that we'll take care of on Saturday at our Pre-Race Trail Day, and the sun should dry the trail out quickly now that the grass has mostly been cut back!

It's Wednesday and the last few days have dumped a lot of snow on us with more coming. We are caught up with our regular plow customers, but still getting calls from folks without regular plow service. If you are snowed in we are ready to help! We can get those stuck vehicles freed and open up your driveway. We also ask that if you have vulnerable neighbors, elderly or disabled please check on them!

It was supposed to be a simple job to replace some sagging drywall and insulation in a garage, that is until we discovered some very questionable framing decisions that were made during construction! Those center boards are running the same direction as the peak, which was not structurally sound. We didn't get pics in process but the fix was to add a steel beam to support the roof load and pull the walls back in. Happy to say that we were able to help this customer with some agile problem solving!

Recent project at Howard Hanna Mentor Office for the Paratto Ross Real Estate Team at Howard Hanna. This space started as three separate small offices with some old school heavy wall paper in each. We took down a wall, cut an opening for a new door in a wall, stripped carpet, and along the way found some old damaged drywall from a leak in the exterior brick. After demo we of course patched that bad drywall, stripped the old wallpaper glue and skim coated all walls. The ceiling grid was joined where the wall was removed, and after paint the crew from D&R Flooring handled the carpet. Finishing touches were a custom 4x12 peninsula table and built in perimeter desks to maximize work space. Mike, Shelby, and the rest of the team we hope you like the result!
