With temperatures soaring, your AC is working hard to keep your home comfortable. Here are a few simple tips to help keep the heat out and the cool air in:
✅ Keep blinds and curtains closed, especially on windows that get direct sunlight
✅ Keep exterior doors closed as much as possible
✅ Avoid using the oven during the hottest part of the day
✅ Run ceiling fans counterclockwise to help circulate cool air
✅ Change dirty air filters to help your system breathe easier
✅ Keep heat producing appliances to a minimum during peak afternoon hours
✅ Make sure outdoor AC units are free of debris and have room to breathe
