Hear we have a first hand example of a extremely stupid design. Some co@k su%ckin no good moth$er fu&kin piece of s**t looser engineer designed this hydraulic cylinder with a piston that has a internal snap ring with 0 access to remove. It is completely captured and even when i cut the rod (because I am making new one anyway) to get piston off the groove is so tight that can't get anything behind to close snap ring to release piston. So I machined it apart didnt have any other choice🤷🤷🤷. And yes I try to beat small cheisels next to it to pop it free and i tried pulling on piston to pull free but all was causing damage to piston. I guess my real question is was this designed to be serviceable or just another moron engineer trying to justify his own existence. Browns points for anyone that has worked on one of theses and didn't feel the need to execute the designer
