was originally started shortly after WWII by two brothers, William and Peter Braunius. A short time after their younger brother Dave Braunius joined them and they officially incorporated on April 11, 1956 as Braunius Bros., Inc. During the years that followed changes have occurred in Braunius Bros. Dave Braunius, the youngest of the three brothers decided to establish his family in Upstate New Yor
k; therefore moved in the mid 1960’s. William and Peter continued operating the company together with their sons coming and going for various reasons of moving away or starting their own businesses. Throughout all the years of changes the foundation of total honesty, integrity, trust and complete customer satisfaction has remained the highest priorities of the company. Today Paul Braunius, son of original owner Peter Braunius, and Bob Breeman own and operate the company. Paul has been with the company since his teenage years when he began working as a laborer. He graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University with a B.S. degree in Construction Engineering Technology in 1984; then worked in the field accomplishing most of the companies mason work, some carpentry and project supervision. For about the last 15 years, as president of the company, Paul’s responsibilities are primarily initial sales with estimating and overall administration. Bob was hired as a lead carpenter in the late 1980’s, soon to be running projects on his own for the company. By the early 1990’s Bob was so invaluable and appreciated that he was given a small portion of ownership. Today he is vice-president, and equal owner and in charge of daily operations with project management.
