Employee Spotlight: Kendra Roberts, Office Manager/Internal Services Specialist
We’re proud to feature Kendra Roberts, a lifelong Midlander whose family history is part of the city’s foundation. Her great-grandfather, Truman Friday, owned the well-known Friday’s Boot Shop and served as a pastor at several local churches, while her grandparents ran a family tax business and the Family Maytag and Affordable Appliance stores. Kendra grew up surrounded by hard work and service to the community, and she brings that same spirit to Peak every day.
Kendra had spent nearly five years with Peak and returned last year as Office Manager/Internal Services Specialist. Kendra is the first smiling face you see when you enter our headquarters, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who walks through the door. She supports the team with ticketing and the receivables side of operations while keeping the office organized and running smoothly. She also ensures supplies are stocked and is always ready to help wherever needed. Kendra enjoys learning new areas of accounting and appreciates the challenge of working with different customer billing requirements.
Outside of work, Kendra finds joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoys sipping sweet tea, cooking a good meal, and relaxing with favorite shows like Gilmore Girls, Golden Girls, or Reba. With all six of her children grown and starting their own families, she treasures time with her grandchildren and looks forward to more of it in the years ahead. She loves Mexican food, the Rocky and Creed movie series, and dreams of visiting Switzerland. If she could choose a superpower, she’d remove negativity from the world to make it safer and kinder for the next generation.
Kendra’s deep Texas roots, steady dedication, and warm personality make her an essential part of the Peak family. We’re grateful for everything she does and the positive energy she brings to our team!
