As we recognize International Women’s Day during Women’s History Month, we’re reminded that the future of manufacturing and skilled trades depends on who feels encouraged to build, lead, and belong from an early age.
That’s why we support initiatives like Build Like a Girl, where students gain hands-on exposure to real-world skills and learn directly from professionals working in our industry today.
Thank you to our colleagues who volunteered their time last month to help students in Midland, Michigan, explore what a career in manufacturing and skilled trades can look like.
When young people can see themselves in these spaces early on, it builds confidence, expands what feels possible, and helps strengthen the future workforce our communities and industry rely on.
