The Women’s Energy Network – Permian Basin Chapter hosted its first annual Fashion Show at the Petroleum Club of Midland in the evening on Monday, September 18th. WEN partnered with local stores to showcase professional dress in the workplace from FRCs in the field to suits in the boardroom at all price-points. The event raised over $1,800 for Christmas presents for 12-17 year old clients of the Midland R**e Crisis and Children’s Advocacy Center. The models wore outfits from Julian Gold, Talbots, Chico’s, Banana Republic Outlet, Versona, Kohl’s, Target, and Rig – ID.

Recent estimates tell us that over 9,800 local children don’t know where their next meal is coming from. Food 2 Kids is a community effort to feed these hungry children of the Permian Basin.
