Over the past 20+ years, we've been fortunate to gain an exceptionally diverse background across the oil & gas, renewable energy, and now data center industries. That experience has provided not only strong industry and legal knowledge, but also a deep understanding of business consulting, project development, and negotiations at a high level. More recently, we’ve had the opportunity to work closely within the world of large-scale project financing, learning firsthand what it takes to structure and support projects valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars. It is both challenging and incredibly rewarding.
During those two decades, our team has researched title on and negotiated tens of thousands of oil & gas leases and mineral acquisitions across multiple states, primarily throughout Texas. Collectively, these efforts have involved the evaluation and negotiation of hundreds of thousands of acres. In addition, we have managed two major city-lot development projects that currently produce—or are expected to produce—tens of thousands of barrels of oil per month. Energy.
Over the last five years alone, our company has played a key role in helping clients advance more than 5 GW of energy projects into the ERCOT interconnection queue, along with several hundred additional megawatts across the MISO and SPP markets. That number continues to grow each month. Watching these projects evolve from concept to construction has been one of the most exciting parts of the journey. Energy.
In just the last year, we successfully negotiated projects that contributed approximately 2 GW of data center capacity into “Batch Zero” of ERCOT’s new study process. Beyond ERCOT, we also helped negotiate an additional 3 GW of data center-related projects spanning Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas (ERCOT), and Texas (MISO). Data intelligence.
What all of this reinforces is that the work becomes more challenging—and more exciting—with every passing year. The learning never stops. We are grateful to operate at a high level of efficiency while having access to an extraordinary breadth of industry knowledge on a daily basis. Our commitment to creating true energy synergy continues to drive us toward becoming solution-oriented experts, not only in the rapidly evolving world of energy generation, but also in the expanding landscape of data intelligence and infrastructure.
What will the next 20 years bring to our doorstep?
