What a difference a few weeks make!

Last time we checked in, the steel was just going up. Now the walls are on, the roof is coming together, and the new building is really starting to meld with our existing facility and look like it was meant to be there from the start. It's been fun watching it change a little more every day.

🏈Our team suited up for MiCareerQuest Middle Michigan 2026 at the SVSU Ryder Center and spent the day talking with 10th graders from across the region about careers in advanced manufacturing.

Events like this matter to us. Career and technical education gives students hands-on experience and a clear path into skilled careers, and many of those careers are right here in mid-Michigan. As our company grows, so does our need for talented people. Supporting local students today is one of the best ways we can invest in the our future and our region.

To the students we met: if something sparked your interest, talk to your school’s Career Counselor about CTE courses in manufacturing. It’s a great first step.

Think about the rooms you remember. The classroom where something finally clicked. The locker room on game day. The patient room where the nurse had everything within reach.

Every one of them started with an architect asking how people would really use the space.

We're grateful to help answer that question at every stage: in the drawings, in the specs, in our shop in Midland, Michigan and all the way through the final install.

We're 'Raising the Bar'...or the beam, as it were. In either case, steel is going up on James Savage Road.

The supports are set, and the frame is starting to take shape on our 51,000 sqft expansion. Our partners at Moltus Building Group are doing a great job out there!

29 years ago, Chris Summers thought this would be a five-year job. 😄

Today he is a Production Team Leader at Case Systems and one of the people who keeps the production floor running. Twenty-nine years on the floor has taught him where good work actually begins.

“It is so important to be a good listener. Really hear what someone is trying to say. That is how you get to the root cause.”

Ask him why he stayed for 29 years and the answer comes just as fast. The people.

Off the clock, Chris is a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan who makes it to Comerica Park every season. ⚾

Congratulations on 29 years, Chris. Thank you for everything you bring to this team! 🎉

Our work at the Humane Society of Midland County is complete, and we'd love for you to see it.

Their reception area was handling adoptions, donations, check-ins, and staff meetings all at once, with donated items stored wherever they would fit. The space had potential. It just needed a system.

Hit play to hear Executive Director Jessie Fletcher share what changed, including the reaction she's been getting from staff and volunteers.

HSoMC operates without federal or government funding, which means everything in that building came from donors and sponsors in this community. We're glad to be counted among them.
