The idea of my company came to me years ago while working as a service technician. I was doing preventative maintenance for many different types of HVAC units & I noticed one thing: majority of my customers had no idea why I was doing what I was doing & why it was important. All they knew was they had a newly installed HVAC system & their one year warranty required it. 🤦🏽♀️ Which is fine, but it showed me just how little educated people are on HVAC & the importance of air flow & indoor air quality. Showed me even more, that a lot of companies are after the dollar. It’s “too much too explain”. Twice a year inspections/maintenance are recommended for heat pumps, air conditioners & furnaces/heaters. Electrical components inside both indoor & outdoor units must be checked & tested to prevent failure; coils should be cleaned & cleared of any buildup or debris sucked in by the blower wheel. Ductwork can become dirty through supply vents in your floor, return vents hold your filters so they’ll always be a designation for dust buildup. Moisture conditions produce mildew & mold in some cases if not properly collected through drainage & evaporation. All of these issues in the long end lead back to what’s most important, INDOOR AIR QUALITY. Comfort is important, being cool & being warm is important, but make sure what’s keeping you comfortable is also clean. Clean air is imperative to lung health & health is wealth. 😌 It’s been my plan from the beginning to help & educate. Let Mi serve you 🫶🏽
