Speed to Market: Digitally printed cans currently have longer lead times (typically 6+ weeks). Turnaround times for shrink sleeved labeled cans can be much faster, getting you to the market quicker.

Low MOQ: Standard painted cans and digitally printed cans require larger minimum order quantities and can look dull compared to shrink sleeves. Sleeved cans require low MOQs and are vibrant, making them “pop” off the shelf.

Durability: The inks used to digitally print on cans could break down in harsh environments causing flaking. Shrink sleeves are more durable and can withstand harsh conditions.

Recyclability: PS labels cause issues with the recyclability of aluminum cans while shrink sleeve labels with vertical perforation can be easily removed, making the can 100% recyclable.
