Our past couple of blog posts have explained the mechanics and history of plastic media blasting, and December's post included an interview with the owner of American Dry Stripping and Powder Coating. This month, we are bringing it all together with a video depicting a typical day in a plastic media blast booth. The blasting target is a 1970 Mustang Fastback, stripped down to its metal frame and body. Blasting in this video is primarily done to the frame, floor, and undercarriage, with before-and-after images provided at the end.
