I’M ABOUT TO MAKE SOME PEOPLE UNCOMFORTABLE. AND I’M PERFECTLY FINE WITH THAT.

Over the last week, my personal page has absolutely exploded.

Thousands of new followers. Thousands of comments. Conversations about God, abortion, science, morality, and the Christian faith.

And while all of that has been happening, there’s something I’ve unintentionally neglected.

The Little Warriors Project

Our page has around 1,400 followers. And I’m about to ask you to help me change that.

But first, you need to understand something.

I DIDN’T START THIS PROJECT BECAUSE I WANTED TO RUN A CHARITY.

I started it because I watched my one-pound daughter fight for her life in a hospital where I also watched other parents leave without their children.

I saw what happens when a family receives devastating news.

I saw what 144 days inside a NICU can do to a marriage, a family, and a person’s faith.

And I realized I couldn’t spend the rest of my life talking about loving my neighbor while doing absolutely nothing for the neighbors whose suffering I had witnessed firsthand.

So we started The Little Warriors Project.

We provide care packages, meals, gas cards, necessities, and practical support to NICU families.

But here’s where things are going to get interesting.

I AM UNAPOLOGETICALLY PRO-LIFE.

Not politically convenient pro-life.

Not pro-life only when there’s an election.

Not pro-life until the baby is born and then suddenly the family becomes somebody else’s problem.

I believe every human being possesses inherent dignity and worth because every human being is created in the image of God.

The child in the womb.

The premature baby in an incubator.

The child born with profound disabilities.

The mother facing an unexpected pregnancy.

The grieving parent leaving the hospital with empty arms.

Every. Single. One.

And if we’re going to defend the life of a child in the womb, we’d better be prepared to stand beside that child’s family outside of it.

Otherwise, what exactly are we accomplishing?

But I’m not stopping there.

I ALSO BELIEVE CHRISTIANS HAVE SPENT FAR TOO LONG BEING AFRAID TO DEFEND WHAT THEY CLAIM TO BELIEVE.

We’re told to keep our faith private.

We’re told that biblical convictions are offensive.

We’re told that defending Christianity is somehow hateful.

And somewhere along the way, too many Christians started confusing being loving with being silent.

I reject that completely.

Truth does not become hatred simply because someone finds it offensive.

And compassion does not require surrendering our convictions.

So moving forward, I want The Little Warriors Project to become a place where we do more than talk about loving people.

WE’RE GOING TO PUT OUR THEOLOGY TO WORK.

We’re going to help NICU families.

We’re going to advocate for the unborn.

We’re going to engage difficult questions about Christianity.

We’re going to defend the reliability of Scripture, the existence of God, and the truth of the gospel.

And we’re going to do it without apologizing for believing that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation.

But listen carefully, because this next part matters tremendously.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BELIEVE WHAT I BELIEVE TO DESERVE COMPASSION.

An atheist family deserves compassion.

A Muslim family deserves compassion.

A Catholic family deserves compassion.

A family that disagrees with every theological conviction I hold deserves compassion.

Compassion is not something people earn by agreeing with us.

We will never make someone profess Christianity to receive a Warrior Box.

We will never make our assistance conditional upon listening to a sermon.

Because every human being bears the image of God, regardless of what they believe.

And because Christian charity isn’t supposed to be a transaction.

I WANT OUR THEOLOGY TO BE UNCOMPROMISING AND OUR COMPASSION TO BE UNDENIABLE.

I want the mother considering abortion to know there’s someone willing to help her.

I want the father sitting alone in a NICU waiting room to know he hasn’t been forgotten.

I want the atheist who disagrees with everything I believe to receive an act of kindness without being asked to compromise his convictions in return.

And above everything else, I want Christ to be glorified.

Now here’s my challenge.

THOUSANDS OF YOU HAVE FOLLOWED ME THIS WEEK BECAUSE OF WHAT I’VE WRITTEN.

You’ve shared my posts. You’ve debated me. You’ve encouraged me. Some of you have called me every name imaginable.

That’s fine.

But I want to turn something that happened on Facebook into something that actually makes a difference beyond Facebook.

The Little Warriors Project currently has 1,400 followers.

I WANT 5,000.

Not because I need another number beside my name.

Because 5,000 people paying attention means 5,000 opportunities for someone to hear about a family that needs help.

It means more people learning why unborn children deserve protection.

It means more opportunities to engage people with the gospel.

And it means more families finding out that someone cares when their world has been turned upside down.

I DON’T WANT TO BUILD AN AUDIENCE THAT SIMPLY APPLAUDS WHAT I SAY.

I WANT TO BUILD A COMMUNITY THAT BELIEVES THESE THINGS ENOUGH TO ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEM.

So if you’ve followed my story, prayed for Navy Kate, shared my apologetics posts, or believe that defending life should involve more than winning arguments, I’m asking you to do one simple thing.

GO FOLLOW THE LITTLE WARRIORS PROJECT.

Then share this post.

And let’s find out what happens when thousands of people stop treating their convictions as something to post about and start treating them as something worth living out.

The world has heard plenty of Christians arguing about what they believe.

I want them to see what happens when we actually believe it.

If our faith is strong enough to defend life with our words, it had better be strong enough to defend it with our actions.

Neil faulkenberry provided an awesome demonstration for the OBG this past Saturday. If you have not had the pleasure of meeting this man you owe it to yourself to make a point of doing so.
I hold him in the same regard I do the other two gentlemen. BillBob Sowell and Buster Grubbs . These three gentlemen have had a huge impact on my knife making and growth as a craftsman.

My son Alex is the Chapter President and is doing great things, please spare a moment of your time to read and help if you can. Thank you all.

Hey there! I wanted to share a really important cause for Baldwin County High School's FFA chapter. They’re trying to raise $4,500 to attend the national convention in Indianapolis, which would mean so much for the members, especially after the club being inactive for two years. If you could take a moment to donate or share the link below, it would make a big difference for these students. Thank you!

My name is Madison and I am a part of a club called FFA for Baldwin Coun… Madison Smith needs your support for Help Bring Baldwin FFA to National Convention!
