I started as a carpenters helper in 1978 for a local contracting company. In 1992 after 14 years of learning the trade and becoming skilled in every area of construction I started Hackman Restorations. Since then I have been successfully making a living doing building, remodeling, custom carpentry, framing, interior finishing, exterior, and all other aspects of the trade. As the owner I am always

Before and After of a porch remodel with new timbertech deck,riser and fascia boards. Rebuilt the steps with new stringers and new vinyl railing all around. Homeowner painted the post and lattice. Thanks for looking and I'll be posting more job pictures in the near future!

Hi everyone,

I'll start off by saying i appreciate everyone who sent cards, messages, and voicemails over the past few weeks! As most of you may have heard the news by now and for the one's who didn't my father Greg (my hero/role model) passed away two weeks ago unexpectedly. Most of you who know our family or people we met over the years through work knew that someday I (Greg's son Zach) would eventually take over the business unfortunately this isn't the way things were supposed to happen. With that being said i ask that all of you please bare with me as we work these difficult times to keep our reputation and quality craftsmanship going for years to come. Most of the people we've had the pleasure of working with over the years know that i hold myself to the same very high standards, values and quality of work as my father Greg did since starting the business. I look forward to continuing the relationships with all of you present and future just as my dad has! Thank you all and also you can still reach me at the same business # (570-850-1371)we've always had!

Before and After pics of a tongue and groove family room we did awhile back for a customer of Tim Turner!! All tongue and groove on ceilings/walls were glued and nailed. All ( #1 1×4 and 1×6) pine was used for window/archway jambs,casing and also base trim. Which all was sanded with 220 grit then polyurethaned for 3 coats sanded between each coat. We can't take the credit for the beautiful faux beams you see in the pictures. As always thanks for looking and please like and share our post!!

Before and after pics of a small siding job we did (summer 18')on the Masonic Temple in Mifflinburg!! The part we did was old cinder block so we had to put nailers on with tapcons to nail the siding. Cherry run rd. Weikert,PA Completed pics tongue and groove ceiling all sanded and polyurethaned,T-1eleven on walls(owner will paint as needed),trimmed with 1x4,1x6 #1 pine sanded and polyurethaned,new windows,doors,wiring and light fixtures....this was a beautiful transformation....hopefully we will do the remodel kitchen at a later date....thanks for looking....if you need anything built,remodeled give us a call we love taking something old and giving it a fresh new makeover!!

Cabin remodel cherry run rd Weikert,PA before and during pics......new framing including all new collar ties bolted together,new studs where needed,new windows,and all new wiring and rerouted with new light fixtures.....we didnt remodel kitchen area or any flooring.....thanks for looking.....look for the completed pics also!!

Before and After of a beautiful kitchen remodel we did. Changed kitchen layout complete with new cabinets , crown moulding, cabinet pulls, meganite countertops(not installed by us), and tile backsplash. Repaired drywall as needed, added can lights all around,changed out old light fixtures and also new receptacles in whole kitchen/dining area, finished off with all new wainscoat/chair moulding, base and door trim...Homeowner's did all painting and vinyl plank floor installation....Thanks for looking!!

During construction and Finished photos of a 10'×20' deck we built awhile back complete with all composite deck boards/fascia boards and riser boards on steps topped off with white vinyl railing.....Thanks for looking!!
