One month ago, Main Street Milton issued a call for photographers to submit images that capture the essence of Downtown Milton. Main Street Milton will submit three winning photographs to the Florida Main Street Photo Contest. The deadline for submission was 5 p.m., Monday, July 2. MSM received ninety-eight (98) photographs from ten (10) talented photographers. On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff – THANK YOU!!!

Now it’s time to select the winning photographs. On Thursday, June 28, 2018, MSM hosted a “Meet & Greet: A Taste of Milton”. At this event, ballots were provided to those in attendance to select their three favorite images. The field of sixty-eight (68) (the number of pictures submitted prior to the event) was reduced down to twelve (12). An additional thirty (30) pictures were received after the Meet & Greet but prior to the deadline. Those thirty (30), plus the twelve (12) semi-finalists are now available for viewing and voting.

Images can be viewed on the Main Street Milton page or you can stop by the Main Street Event Center, 9-4 p.m., Thursday, July 5 and Friday, July 6. Simply select your top three images and post a Comment on Facebook, or cast a ballot in person at the Event Center – 5256 Alabama Street. One ballot per person, please.
