Our next-generation hydraulic excavator PC138USi-12 and articulated dump truck HM460-6 have both won the 2026 Good Design Award. For more than 60 years, Japan‘s prestigious award program has promoted better living and society through design by recognizing excellence across a broad range of products, services and systems. For Komatsu, this marks the sixth consecutive year that our products have earned the "G Mark." In addition, HM460-6 was selected for the special exhibition "My Favorite Design 2026" by Good Design Award jury members. Guided by our design philosophy of supporting everyone involved with our products, we strive to strengthen the relationship between people and technology through safety, comfort and usability. We believe design is an essential function of construction and mining equipment, helping deliver better experiences for operators, jobsite personnel and communities alike. These awards encourage us to continue pursuing designs that create greater value for people and society.
新世代油圧ショベル「PC138USi-12」とアーティキュレートダンプトラック「HM460-6」が、2026年度グッドデザイン賞を受賞し、6年連続での受賞となりました。また、HM460-6はグッドデザイン賞審査委員による企画展示「私の選んだ一品2026」にも選定されました。グッドデザイン賞は60年以上にわたり、製品やサービス、システムなど幅広い分野の優れたデザインを評価・顕彰し、より良い暮らしや社会の実現を推進してきました。PC138USi-12は、都市工事向け油圧ショベルとして培ってきた完成度をさらに高め、快適性と安全性の向上を図りました。HM460-6は、視界性能や安全性の向上に加え、オペレーターの快適性にも配慮した新しいキャブデザインを採用しています。私たちは、「製品に関わるすべての人々を応援するものでありたい」というデザインフィロソフィーのもと、安全性、快適性、使いやすさを追求しながら、人と技術のより良い関係を目指しています。今回の受賞を励みに、これからもより良い体験を提供するデザインを追求していきます。
