At Butters-Fetting we are a family, but for something like this you call upon your community too.
One of our young steamfitter’s daughter Hailey has been through more than any child ever should. At 4 years old she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. In the 10 years since, she has been through chemo, radiation treatments, and hyperbaric chamber treatments which have caused irreversible damage to her cognitive function. She has had a shunt installed and modified twice, a port surgery for the chemo, 2 gtube surgeries, and a foot surgery to lengthen her Achilles because mobility was so limited. She now endures seizures as a result of the damage. April 1st of this year, Hailey had double hip surgery which has left her in a full lower body splint with a metal bar between her knees completely immobilized. She requires 24/7 care that cannot be provided by one person alone because of the difficulty of this situation. More details can be found in the attached.
The family has been resilient in their efforts for this sweet child but as you can imagine it is extremely difficult. We are reaching out to our construction community to ask to help if you are able to. Any amount, big or small. While money won’t solve everything, it will provide some much-needed relief so that the family can focus on the love and care of their sweet daughter Hailey.
