That's a wrap on MKE Night Market season!

Our team had a great time at the final Night Market of the year. Throughout the season, we made 7,560 s'mores in the GRAEF S'mores Lounge and connected with so many wonderful community members.

What does a more connected Milwaukee look like?

As part of the City of Milwaukee's 414 in Motion initiative, GRAEF is helping develop Milwaukee's first comprehensive active transportation plan, creating a roadmap for safer walking, biking, and multimodal travel across the city.

Grounded in community input and supported by thoughtful planning and design, the plan will help guide transportation investments, strengthen neighborhood connections, and expand transportation options for residents across Milwaukee.

City officials have started construction on the Brookfield Public Market, a project designed to revitalize the former Boston Store site at Brookfield Square Mall by spring 2028.

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Science and Technology Innovation Center (SciTech) is creating new opportunities for learning, research, and innovation through state-of-the-art labs, collaborative spaces, and industry partnerships. Designed to support hands-on STEM education, the facility will help prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow.

As Milwaukee prepares for the next chapter of the Milwaukee Public Museum site, thoughtful planning is helping shape what's possible.

GRAEF recently completed a redevelopment study evaluating future opportunities for the museum property and surrounding MacArthur Square area, exploring how this important civic site can continue to serve the community for generations to come. Building on more than two decades of planning and urban design work in the district, our team developed redevelopment frameworks, conceptual site plans, and 3D visualizations to help guide future investment, strengthen connectivity, and create vibrant public spaces in the heart of downtown Milwaukee.

During National Community Planning Month, it's great to celebrate planning's role in reimagining places, connecting communities, and shaping a stronger future.
