Advanced Plating takes our wastewater treatment very seriously, since we work with various chemicals and metals. With our upgraded wastewater system, which was installed in 2016, we couldn't be prouder to be acknowledged by the Milwaukee Metro Sewerage District as being on the honor roll for 2025. We have been on the honor roll since 2013 being completely adherent to MMSD's Industrial Waste Pretreatment Program regulations with no identified permit violations over the calendar year. APT leaves zero footprint with recycling all of our sludge / waste and never landfilling anything since 1948, when we established.
Criteria for MMSD Honor Roll:
Full Regulatory Compliance: Zero significant violations of local, state, or federal pretreatment standards and discharge limits during the calendar year.
Permit Adherence: Flawless maintenance of wastewater discharge permits, including precise self-monitoring documentation and timely submittal of required special reports.
Effective Pretreatment Operations: Proper operation and maintenance of on-site water clarification and pollutant-removal infrastructure (such as Dissolved Air Flotation or specialized filtration systems) to successfully reduce oil, grease, and heavy metals prior to discharge.
Environmental Stewardship: Demonstrated active support in safeguarding local water resources, preventing sewer damage, and protecting Lake Michigan.
