Expanding surgical capacity within an active hospital is one of healthcare construction's greatest challenges.

At UW Medical Center's Montlake Campus, the Surgery Pavilion Expansion introduced two new operating rooms within an occupied facility—requiring extensive coordination, careful phasing, and seamless integration of critical building systems.
