What a year for UPCYCLING! NETZRO is a proud founding member of the Upcycled Food Association, whose impact for 2022 included preventing a projected 991,681,940 pounds of food from waste - the carbon equivalent of taking 242,000 cars off the road. NETZRO has even bigger things on the horizon for next year - Cheers to a great 2023!

A Minnesota-based company called NETZRO sources the flour for Avalon, which they use to make the final product, the crackers. So far, Avalon gets flour every few months based on demand.

We create a positive environmental impact by rescuing food byproduct from becoming waste and reharvesting it into delicious, value-add ingredients. These upcycled grains have more nutrients, higher fiber, higher protein, and less sugar than virgin grains. We work with our partner breweries and distilleries to sustainably source and verify their supply chain to ensure the best grains live up to their full potential.

We love the opportunity to increase awareness about upcycling and collaborate with partners to expand sustainable and zero-waste practices. Plus, their butter is perfect with bread made from our upcycled grains.
