One of the things that most companies work towards is keeping both the employees and public safe. To do so means that all of us, as employers, employees, and the general public need to respect the laws and each other.

When you see caution tape, warning lines and barricades, they are there for a reason... your safety. Please respect them and do not cross them. We are not trying to inconvenience you, but keep you safe!!

Did you know that gravel is installed on a built up roof to protect it from degradation from the sun? With out the gravel, the asphalt will breakdown faster.

Every building needs to be reroofed someday. Always plan ahead and review your safety first. New tie offs, such as this one, may be required and certified.

All things need to be maintained. Your car, your roof and your Fire Extinguishers. Today we are having Summit Fire inspecting ours and making sure they are marked and ready for use in case of a fire.

Safety and health need to take priority, and it is nice to see that the construction market has improved. Let’s keep this trend in construction moving forward and improve and hopefully, with what we learn, we can teach others and improve the safety of all businesses.
