When these South Minneapolis homeowners (repeat clients of ours) outgrew their space, relocating felt like the obvious answer. But giving up the lake, the neighbors, and the rhythm of the neighborhood they'd grown to love wasn't something a bigger spot in a different zip code could replace.

So we got to work. We opened up the entry, created a main-level gathering space the whole family could actually use, and carved out a mudroom that finally makes day-to-day living flow better.
