Radon is found all throughout the United States and Minnesota is no exception.

What is Radon?
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that comes from the breakdown of uranium in soil and rock. It’s odorless, invisible, and can enter any home, new or old, drafty or airtight. High radon levels increase the risk of lung cancer, and it’s the #1 cause of lung cancer among non‑smokers in the U.S. according to epa.gov.

Here's the best way to minimize your risk while supporting the comfort of your home and air quality.

A radon test is inexpensive and easy, most tests run 2–7 days and provide clear results. Testing is the only way to know your home’s radon level. It is advised to mitigate levels above 2 pCi/L.

How does a Radon Mitigation system help?

The build is coming together — here's a look inside the finishing phase of this Treetop ADU project.

After the shell was coming to life in (Part 1), it was time to bring the details to the home.

Here's where we are:

🪵 Finishing our double stud wall system
⚡ Hooking up our cold climate all electric home
🧱 Application of our air and moisture barrier
🏠 Exterior cladding and rain screen install

What you're seeing in these photos is the final parts of the process from systems construction to livability. The airtight envelope, ERV, and continuous insulation are already in the walls doing their job.
