My adventures in refrigeration have often brought me to Watford City and the Roosevelt Hotel. Along with an impressive collection of Teddy Roosevelt memorabilia, there are beautiful photographs of the Maah Daah Hey 100. I’ve learned a little about this family and their efforts. If you’re so inclined, join me in throwing a few bucks their way. The Maah Daah Hey is a spectacular thing for North Dakota. Let them know that their efforts are appreciated.

You may have noticed that our page has been really quiet lately...the truth of the matter is that we've been so busy that we were afraid that too many posts would make the phone ring and that we wouldn't be able to keep up. As it turns out, we still can't keep up...so today we are starting a search for some more help. Now hiring! We are looking to add 3 service technicians/installers. If you know someone who is mechanically inclined, and interested in a career in HVAC&R please send them our direction.

Something cool shared from NDSCS...Do you know somebody that should consider a career in HVAC&R? Get them down to Wahpeton. Great career prospects in the coming years. We recently heard projections of an approximately 88,000 person shortage of skilled refrigeration and HVAC employees over the next five years in the US. That is a whole lot of work and a whole lot of opportunity, but the program is needing some good students to come sign up. The job is all about applied physics. The systems are getting more complex and that means that people in the know are going to be in high demand. This isn't just your typical household air conditioner guy. Think big commercial and industrial systems. Think about the big variable refrigerant flow systems in great big buildings. Think about control systems and what they do to help the world go round. If you know somebody needing an opportunity in life, get them to consider a career in refrigeration and HVAC. First stop- the North Dakota State College of Science.

Brian and Mike just returned from the RSES UMRA conference in Rapid City SD. The educational speakers were absolutely spectacular and a good time was had by all. A few of my team members have a more than healthy fear of hights. Thank you guys for doing what you can to get up in the world. Does anybody have any ideas on how to help someone get comfortable while climbing or working from a ladder?
