A huge congratulations to all who competed in the NCMCA Apprenticeship Contest yesterday. GMI was well represented.

The big winner was our very own Colson Childers who produced a near flawless panel. The NC Competition is considered the toughest in the country!

A special shout-out to Colby Kirkland who finished 9th, Trent Faulkner, and Carter Swett who earned 6th place in the first-year competition.

We are so proud of these fine men and feel confident about the future of masonry craft!

This morning we were able to present a brand new crew truck to Jehovany Mejia! Jehovany is a dedicated and hardworking crew leader and we are excited to have him drive a truck with the GMI logo. He represents Griffin Masonry well and we are very proud of him. Thank you for everything you do, Jehovany!

🌽The beginning of summer is marked by fresh picked corn! Each year, we give out hundreds of ears of delicious corn. A fun tradition and one of our favorite days🌽

Many of our apprentices learn to lay brick in classrooms and competitions. They build it and then tear it down. Today, they got to lay brick on a customers dream home! These homeowners recently moved to the Carolinas to be closer to their grandkids. Our masonry apprentices got to build something that will last them for generations.
