I'm Jimmy Fitts, also known as Jmax, and I do all sorts of woodwork...making custom signs to all sorts of indoor and outdoor furniture. I have a very creative mind and my woodwork is like art to me. I love taking pieces of wood and turning it into something that other people can enjoy. Most of the time, I use pine to do my woodwork but I am also starting to use cedar for my work. is used with screws to ensure good strength. My woodwork will last years and years. After it is built, it is stained to your liking and then glossed. I am always thinking of new projects to do. I've recently built a wine rack and also a personalized hope chest. Growing up in Maine, I have always been around the woods and seen all sorts of wood work that other people make. In high school, I took vocational classes about woodwork so it has always been an interest of mine. After I graduated, I moved to North Carolina in 2000. I got my carpentry license and then started working for my father setting up modular homes...and has been doing that ever since. Being in NC, i've noticed the difference in the woodwork....there isn't many places you can just go and look at woodwork that isn't factory made, in less of course you go in the mountains. So thats when I started doing my woodwork and it is now a hobby of mine that I do when i'm not setting up modular homes. I am almost 40 years old now and I live in the charlotte area. It was so easy one to replace the door .. so the customer bought wrong door because of the size not right... It was over...

It was so easy one to replace the door .. so the customer bought wrong door because of the size not right... It was over 4 inch to wide.. so if anyone wants replace the door I can come by to measure it to make it right and replace it like a glove!! 👍🤙
