Good Afternoon Members,

The crews have almost got every primary line on three phase as well as three phase. There is one line of three phase should be done within the next two hours, we will then be down to only individual outages. Each individual outage can take different amounts of time depending on the amount of damage, the crews will continue to work into the evening restoring what they can. What isn’t done this evening our crew will be back again first thing in the morning.

If you are still off double check your breaker , also if your pole is broken from damages the crew will be back first thing in morning to start working on those, that don’t get put back on tonight! Please make sure there is enough room for our equipment to get to the pole.

Call in any danger poles you may come across or wires on the ground. Please stay clear of them if you do see them and get the nearest pole number to that location that is safe to go to.

There is still a lot of clean up work to be done.

Good Morning, Members.

We aim to have all the main feed lines single and three phase restored by day’s end.

Crews are addressing individual outages, so please call in your outage with your account info. 605-856-4416

We’ve got help from West Central, LaCreek, Rosebud, Douglas, and Charles Mix. Crews worked late into the night and are back at it this morning! Mellette County we have some issues with wires and poles in the Horse Creek area, crews is in the area fixing that area up. Todd County is progressing all the communities are back on and we are tackling individual outages.

Please stay safe, report issues to the office!

Stay away from downed lines poles and damaged equipment!

Good Evening Members,

We want to thank you all for your patience and kind words. Our dedicated crews—Cherry-Todd, along with West Central Electric Cooperative, Inc., Lacreek Electric Association Inc, Rosebud Electric Cooperative, Douglas Electric Cooperative, and Charles Mix Electric—have been working in mud, rain, fallen trees and many other obstacles to restore power. We’ve made great progress, but we still have a few poles, side taps and individuals out. A big thank you goes out to all the helping hands, tractors, plows, road graders, and pay loaders, that have helped pull us out of the mud and get us where we needed to go today. Rest assured, we will continue working from first thing in the morning until late evening. We will provide another update tomorrow morning. Thank you all for your support. Cooperation among cooperatives is a great thing to have here in South Dakota.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the county crews, local farmers, and all others who have helped us navigate the muddy conditions. We’re making steady progress restoring power, though the rain and mud have posed challenges. As we continue working on major lines, we’re gradually restoring more connections. We appreciate your patience and support as we work to get everyone back online.

Good Morning Members,

We have had around a 100 poles lost with tons of damage to equipment on poles, and wires. Meter loops and wire torn down with trees and debris. The crews put up around 35 poles up yesterday. Today they are hitting it hard again.

The crews will be working on getting the main 3 phase lines back on first then will work on the individual outage’s. There is still a lot of meters off all over. The mud and debris have been an issue with getting trucks around as well.

If you see them out please give them space to work. Please stay clear of any downed wire poles and damaged poles.

Good Evening Members.

Our crews have been working tirelessly to restore power, and they will continue through the evening. Please report any outages via the on-call system 605-856-4416 with your account details. Crews will be back at it first thing in the morning. We know the damage is widespread, not just in one spot. If your meter pole or house loop is affected, we’ll get there once main feeders are stable.

We are working as safely and quickly as possible to restore power for everyone. Thank you to our neighboring cooperatives for lending a helping hand in this time of need!

Good Afternoon, Members.

Crews are working hard restoring three-phase lines to White River,waiting on an update from the crews getting things back together for an eta on electricity.

We also have a crew working on the east bound Okreek line and hope within a couple hours power is restored in that direction.

Assisted crews are in, setting poles, wires, and moving material.

Please report outages, to the main office!!! Update your account info, and notify us of dangerous poles.
