Riverside Contracting, Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Surveyor / Survey Technician to join our team!

This is a great opportunity for someone with surveying experience, technical training, or a recent degree who wants to build a career in construction surveying while gaining hands-on experience on active heavy civil construction projects.

What You’ll Do:
• Perform construction layout and staking
• Assist with horizontal and vertical control
• Read construction drawings and site plans
• Operate levels, total stations, and GPS equipment
• Record accurate field data and measurements
• Communicate with project managers, superintendents, and foremen
• Maintain surveying equipment and follow all safety requirements

What We’re Looking For:
• Associate’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience
• Understanding of surveying principles and construction terminology
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of surveying equipment, software, and field procedures
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
• Construction surveying experience or internship preferred

Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced field engineer with a minimum of one year experience. Location is project based (Montana and Wyoming) $80k - $110k DOE plus per diem and bonus program.

We are also looking to fill a construction surveyor position. On the job experience is not required, however, you must have an associates degree in surveying, civil engineering technology or equivalent experience. Location is project based (Montana and Wyoming) $34.55/hr - $45.00/hr DOE plus per diem and bonus program.
