Looks like there will be a bill created to protect rate payers from monopoly utilities forcing rate hikes on their communities. Also this bill would protect rate payers for footing the bill for expensive and resource gobbling data centers.

What a crew!
Just another beautiful day for a new solar installation. There are still spots left on our calendar to get you solar electric savings on your home or business.

I have worked for SBS Solar for 5 years. I love it here. I had an array put on my home in 2024. I currently pull no energy from the grid. I haven't had a electric bill beyond the $4.20 "delivery" fee. every month. I run two mini splits for AC/Heat all the time. I have my hot tub on solar power and will be purchasing an EV before the credit runs out in September. I still have energy that I see going back to the grid daily-supporting my neighbors. I have a battery back up so if my grid tied system goes down during a power outage I can use my LG solar battery to run all of my critical energy loads like my freezer, fridge, basic power for charging phones and managing water output. Its simple and easy- SBS does all the work for you.
I feel more energy independent, especially with NWE energy constantly raising electric prices.
I highly suggest going solar as soon as possible. I was lucky enough to pay for my system after install with my employee discount, but you don't have to be an employee here to see return on your investement.

Most folks see return on investment within 10 years.
Some sooner some a bit later depending on their energy consumption and needs.

☀️ 3 MINS to Save Solar jobs and Montanans money with the 30% solar tax credit☀️

You can help Montanas save the 30% ITC solar tax credit (25D) by calling your representatives listed here or by sending a brief email saying that you support the 25D 30% ITC solar tax credit so you and others can continue to save on taxes beyond 2025.

This tax credit was originally set to sunset in 2032. But “One Big Beautiful Bill” that narrowly passed the house by 1 vote last month, cuts the 30% solar tax credit completely after this year, 2025. Cutting the 25D tax credit to save on taxes doesn’t make sense and will cost many montana jobs and will hurt contractors that are in solar or do business with solar companies across our state and our country. Something none of us can afford right now.

You can act and make a difference😁
Let your representatives know that you do NOT support the abrupt end of the 25D 30% tax credit. That curting that credit this year will endanger a healthy growing industry in Montana (and the US) for decades to come.
