I see a lot of people offering duct cleaning on here. A few things to know:
1. A large majority of duct cleaning companies do not touch the actual equipment. Furnace, evaporator coil, Etc…

2. They don’t touch the equipment because a majority of duct cleaning companies are not licensed to service HVAC equipment

3. After duct cleaning, if the equipment is caked with dust before, the equipment will spread dust/debris all over your perfectly cleaned duct work.

4. Always ask when scheduling a duct cleaning if the actual equipment is being cleaned. If it is, ask to see a HVAC license. If it isn’t, be sure to schedule a blower cleaning for your furnace/air handler on the same day or soon after.

5. An air purifier or air ionizer is a great way to keep the dust away after cleaning your ducts.
